What's New for 2023?
This year, the 2.5T Prestige becomes the 2.5T Sport Prestige. It now offers a 12.3-inch digital gauge display and three-zone automatic climate control. The midrange 2.5T Advanced model now comes standard with the upgraded Lexicon stereo system, and the 2.5T Select gets upgraded front brake calipers and a heated steering wheel.
Three new color options are also available: Capri Blue, Makalu Gray, and Makalu Gray Matte.
Engines
The GV70 is available with either a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder or a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine.
Performance
The base trim of the GV70 comes with a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder producing 300 horsepower, 311 lbs.-ft of torque, and around 22/28 mpg. Whereas GV70's other trim uses a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 to output 375 hp, 391 lbs.-ft. of torque, and get around 19/24 mpg.
All trims come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Design
With a bold and daring design, the GV70 looks and feels luxurious. The sweeping lines of the exterior carry into the interior, fine materials line the cabin, and the glass shift knob is a nice added touch. The GV70 also has more space to offer and additional legroom for back-seat riders, and its cargo capacity is more generous than other SUVs in its class.
Technology
The GV70 has a large, widescreen infotainment display with a click-wheel controller mounted on the center console. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot are all standard, and a high-end Lexicon stereo system is an available option. Additional features include onboard navigation, wireless smartphone charging, and a heated steering wheel.
